2005 Carneros Merlot

Deep garnet in color, the aromas are reminiscent of mocha, blackberry, and delicate spearmint. Our Carneros Merlot has a rich mouthfeel with smooth tannins and a soft finish. The extracted fruit has notes of currants, tobacco, dried cherries, clove spice, and finishing with integrated seasoned oak.

This Merlot would be great with roasted pheasant stuffed with a butternut squash sage dressing, a ground lamb burger with a mint mango chutney, or wild mushroom risotto with fresh chopped tomatoes and basil.
