2005 Dry Creek Valley Old Vine Zinfandel

Our Dry Creek Old Vine Zinfandel has deep garnet color and notes of strawberry, pipe tobacco, caramel, fresh oregano, and rich French oak. Dry Creek terrior all the way, this Zin has mineral and earth tones balanced out with cappuccino, dark cherry cobbler, and cloves finishing with blackberries, vanilla, and French roast coffee notes.

There is a lot of depth here, so pair this with rich dishes. Wild mushroom risotto topped with fried leeks and fresh tarragon, pot roast in a rich beef broth with parsnips and pearl onions, or roast a pork loin with stuffed with dried cherries, figs, and black forest ham and serve with wild rice and haricot vert.
