California Zinfandel
This Zinfandel has rich purple color with aromas of fresh figs, dark cherries, and subtle rosemary notes. Rich and structured, our Zinfandel has dark chocolate, espresso, wild game, and dried cherry finishing with blackberry compote and integrated French oak.
Grilled game would work wonderfully with this Zin. Try marinating some venison (or a beef tri-tip) in a few cups of this wine over night with a sprig of rosemary and some white pepper, then grill it to medium (or medium rare if you dare). Serve this with your favorite mashers and collard greens sautéed with smoked bacon.
